The Ultimate Equation

Earth: A beautiful and miraculous world in which countless species of plants, animals, viruses, bacteria, and insects thrive. Where life comes from, no one knows for sure. The most important theory and speculation of all is our direct ancestors: cyanobacteria, or blue-green algae.

Earth started out as a hot mass of heat and star material. Carbon was the dominance of Earth's atmosphere and heat seemed to be as plenty as the cosmos is wide. As time grew up, the mass cooled and hardened--and some how, as if by divine intervention, the particles of life construed together in hot springs. The most primitive forms of life appeared--bacteria and algae.

Over millions of years, this blue-green algae converted Carbon into Oxygen. These Carbon-filled algae would die and as time grew up taller and taller, they would become the sediment, the soil, and the mountains. Most of the Carbon was now firmly locked in stone and as Evolution personified into a being of great intelligence, animals sprung forth and took in the oxygen to sustain themselves.

Time went on.

We humans have disturbed the balance of Hot and Cold, the most essential balance of all life on Earth. As the planet heats up due to increasing Carbon levels in the atmosphere, life dwindles and frozen water recedes. The climates change, habits perish, food chains die off, and sea levels increase. The cause of this? Homospaien have disrupted the cycle of Carbon and CO2 in the atmosphere.

Now we will live in the poisonous vacuum that we call the biosphere. Earth is a cycle, a direct balance. In math, when one balanced equation is disturbed--just one number--all other equations and variables shift to maintain balance even if one high becomes low and one low becomes high.

Carbon has existed in the bioshpere as soil, rocks, and mountains for millions of years. In the last 50-100 years, we have pushed a large amount of Carbon back into the atmosphere. This large amount of Carbon has altered our planet almost indefinitely.

Because Carbon reenters our atmosphere, Oxygen is now being rearranged in the equation. Carbon disrupts our atmosphere, changes molecular compositions, destroys life--The winds are a product of the differences of Hot and Cold.

Because Carbon has now entered our atmosphere in such a high amount again, as like before when it was our only atmosphere, Hot is now taking over Cold because the light from the sun is heating up our planet.

In the balance of Hot and Cold, Hot is increasing in "numerical value," therefore Cold must decrease. And because Cold decreases, temperatures on Earth fester higher and higher--faster and faster.

Our planet is threatened by our own need for power and control. The ocean's waters will increase by 7 meters if Greenland melts. Lake have already appeared on Greenland's surface.

Glaciers on Mount Kilimajaro have recedes by 80%--so much that rivers no longer flow in the Summer. The five great Asian rivers also pay the forfeit of the disrupted balance between Hot and Cold. The rivers and Snow are slowly receding.

An estimated 70% of the world's population lives along coastal plains. 4.2 billion people are in danger in the upcoming trials of Earth.

Oil is a non-renewable resource. Our need for oil is increasing more than ever and as time rolls by and as countries are in need of more fuel each new decade, Earth's natural springs of fossil fuels diminishes. It is ironic how our miracle has now became our burden.

Is there a way to stop this? Can we fix the global depletion of life on Earth? Is there a way to rearrange the equation that we have so easily disrupted in just 50 years' time?

Or will we let Carbon become our Oxygen and Oxygen become our forsaken relative? Earth is the ultimate equation and because we have no naively ventured to find crude, oil, fuel--we have now disrupted the very miracle of life on Earth which took billions of years to procure. Our ancestors, protozoa, archeobacteria, and our direct descendants, cyanobacteria (blue-green algae)--their work is now in vain.

Evolution was for nothing.
